Begin to assemble the toolbox by gluing the white rectangle (this will look like the handle) to the top of the toolbox. If you prefer, you can cut out the rectangle outline on the toolbox instead.

Create the front of the toolbox by gluing the Happy Father’s Day rectangle onto the long skinny red rectangle.

Now we’re going to glue the red rectangle onto the base of the toolbox. Because we need a pocket to place all the tools, only put glue along the sides and bottom of the rectangle. Be sure to leave the top part of the rectangle open.

It’s time to create the tools! Decide which tools you want to create for this craft. If you’re making this with young kids we suggest sticking to the easier to make tools, like the ruler, pencil, and wrench.

For tools with two pieces (the screwdriver, hammer, saw, and pencil) simply glue the pieces together as shown in the pictures.

Once you’ve created all the tools, slide them into the toolbox and you’re all set!
