Directions
Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring these tools to life!

Take the hammer neck and hammer head. Add glue to the top edge of the neck, then press the hammer head on top.

Once the top part is in place, grab the brown hammer base piece. This will be the handle! Put a bit of glue on the top edge of the base and stick it right underneath the neck.

Now it’s time to bring this little hammer to life! Grab the two paper eyes. Add glue to the back of each eye and place them on the hammer head. Your child will love this part. Suddenly, the hammer has a face and personality!

Grab the red screwdriver base and the gray tip. Add glue to the top of the base, then stick the tip on top. Press gently to secure it.

Once the screwdriver is dry, grab the eyes and glue them right above the smiling mouth on the handle. Help your child place them neatly so the face looks complete. It’s a simple step that makes the tool extra cute!

Next is the wrench—grab a pair of eyes and glue them above the smiling mouth. Look at how the tools really come to life with their little faces!

Grab the green message tag and add glue to the back, then stick it near the bottom of the pegboard background.

Take your finished paper, and glue the hammer on the right side of the pegboard. This is the first tool to go on the board. It’s looking great already.

Next, grab your screwdriver and glue it in the center of the board.

Now it’s time for the wrench! Add glue to the back and place it on the left side of the board, next to the screwdriver. Adjust spacing so all three tools sit nicely side-by-side.

And just like that, your Father’s Day tool board is complete! Isn’t it such a sweet and simple way for kids to show their appreciation? Be sure to check out some of our fun card crafts that your kiddos can craft with just as much love and creativity!
