Take the green cardstock and have the kids glue the ruler onto the left side of the card. The ruler should sit vertically, leaving space on the right for the speech bubble later.

Now, it’s time to give the ruler some personality! Grab one of the eyes and help the kids glue it to the top of the ruler, just under the eyebrow space.

Glue the second eye next to the first to complete the face. Isn’t it looking super cute already?

Instructions

  • Download the template, print it, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by gluing the ruler onto the left side of the background paper.
  • Next, glue one eye near the top of the ruler, just under the eyebrows.
  • Glue the second eye next to the first to complete the face.
  • Finish by gluing the speech bubble next to the ruler on the right side of the cardstock.
