Happy Fathers Day Craft
It’s a fun and easy paper project that works great whether you’re in daycare or creating around the kitchen table.
Young children will enjoy assembling their gifts while also practicing fine motor skills, scissor skills, and following directions.

Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue

Directions
Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this ruler to life!

Take the green cardstock and have the kids glue the ruler onto the left side of the card. The ruler should sit vertically, leaving space on the right for the speech bubble later.

Now, it’s time to give the ruler some personality! Grab one of the eyes and help the kids glue it to the top of the ruler, just under the eyebrow space.

Glue the second eye next to the first to complete the face. Isn’t it looking super cute already?

Finally, glue the speech bubble that says “Dad, You Rule!” onto the top right side of the card.

And that’s it! You’ve just made a sweet, punny Father’s Day card that’s full of love and personality. Let the kids add a special message inside to make it extra meaningful for Dad.

Materials
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Ruler Template
Instructions
- Download the template, print it, and cut out the pieces you need.
- Begin by gluing the ruler onto the left side of the background paper.
- Next, glue one eye near the top of the ruler, just under the eyebrows.
- Glue the second eye next to the first to complete the face.
- Finish by gluing the speech bubble next to the ruler on the right side of the cardstock.
