• Colored cardstock or construction paper
• Glue
• Scissors
• Markers
• Father’s Day tool card template (click the “click here to get this freebie” image at the end to open the form)

Directions

Start by downloading the tool card template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this DIY to life!

First, encourage your child to glue the logo to the center of the measuring tape.

Next, guide your child to place the steel end on the measuring tape and glue it in place.

Attach the thumb lock button to the upper right and glue it to the back of the tape measure.

Help your child to position the measuring tape to the lower right and back of the tape measure and glue it in place.

Finally, open up the card and write a special message inside.
