First, encourage your child to glue the logo to the center of the measuring tape.

Attach the thumb lock button to the upper right and glue it to the back of the tape measure.

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Markers
  • Father’s day tool card template

Instructions

  1. Download the tool card template, print it, and cut out the pieces you need.
  2. First, glue the logo to the center of the measuring tape card base.
  3. Next, place the steel end on the measuring tape and glue it in place.
  4. Attach the thumb lock button to the upper right and glue it to the back of the tape measure.
  5. Position the measuring tape to the lower right and back of the tape measure and glue it in place.
  6. Open up the card and write a special message inside.
