Campfire Treat Craft
Kids will love this project because it turns a classic campfire treat into a sweet art activity. They get to layer a paper s’more by sandwiching a gooey marshmallow between chocolate and graham crackers made from colorful paper. Watching their creation come together gives a sense of accomplishment and keeps little imaginations busy.
This is an easy project that encourages creativity and problem solving. Children practice cutting, arranging, and gluing, which strengthens fine motor skills. Following the sequence of stacking pieces also supports focus and sequencing abilities.
Our printable template makes this fun project even simpler, and you only need a few basic supplies like cardstock, scissors, and glue to bring this cute s’more to life.

Directions
Start by printing the template, then gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this smores to life!

Begin by coloring in the smore’s tongue and the dashed and dotted lines on the top graham cracker piece.
Find the marshmallow piece and the top graham cracker. Add glue to the top of the marshmallow, then carefully place the top graham cracker on it, lining up the edges before pressing it down.

Grab the chocolate bar and the bottom graham cracker piece. Glue the chocolate bar on top of the bottom graham cracker, making sure the edges line up neatly. Kids will love seeing the “chocolate” layer added because it makes the craft look extra sweet!

Place the marshmallow and the top graham cracker piece on top of the chocolate bar and the bottom graham cracker. Line everything up so the marshmallow sits right above the chocolate.

Take the plate piece and use a white paint pen or Crayola Bold & Bright white marker to add tiny dots around it. Kids can add as many dots as they like, which makes this part simple and creative. This gives it the classic, melamine campfire plate look.

Finally, place the finished s’mores craft in the center of the plate. Now your child has a cheerful s’mores craft that is perfect for a camping theme, summer camp activity, or pretend campfire fun!

Kids will love creating their own smiling s’mores while building important skills like hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. It’s a fun way to combine crafting with imaginative play and seasonal themes.
