Directions
Start by printing the template, then gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this car to life!

Look for the car body and the light blue window pieces. Glue the windows along the top curved edge of the car, leaving a small space between them so each window stands out.

Find the eye pieces and glue them just below the window, placing one on each side of the smile so your car looks bright and friendly.

Grab the black tire pieces. Glue the two front tires onto the bottom left of the car, placing them side by side. Then glue the back tire onto the bottom right of the car to finish the wheels.

Set the car aside for a moment and start building the background. Take the grass piece and glue it along the bottom of the blue sky page. This creates the base of your scene.

Take the gray road piece and glue it onto the grass, letting it curve across the page. Line up the left edge first, then smooth it down so the road sits nicely along the bottom of the scene.

Using a marker, help your child draw the dashed lines down the center of the road. This is a fun little detail that makes the scene feel more realistic.

Find the green bush piece and glue it onto the top right side of the grass, right where the grass meets the sky.

Take the cloud pieces and glue them into the sky. Let your child decide where each cloud should go to make their sky look just right.

Glue the completed car onto the road so it looks like it’s driving along. This is the exciting part where everything comes together!

Finish the craft by letting your child add any extra details they’d like. They can draw more road lines, add sunshine, or even create a story about where their car is going!

Kids will have so much fun putting this little car together and watching it come to life! It’s an easy, low-prep activity that supports creativity and hands-on learning. Scroll down for more transportation-themed crafts and fun activities for little creators.
