First, guide your kids to glue the body onto the bottom of the background paper. It’s like laying the foundation for our majestic eagle to take flight on our canvas.

Next, squirt some white and light gray paint on a paper plate, then start dipping the fork in the paint. Use the fork to stamp all around the outline of the eagle’s head. There’s no right or wrong; just stamp until your child likes the way the eagle’s head looks. Let it dry completely before moving on.

Our eagle needs eyes to see the world. Help your kids place the eyes in the middle of the head, one on each side, and secure them in place with glue.

Guide your kids to attach the beak between and slightly over the bottom of the eyes.

Attach the cheeks below and slightly outside the eyes. These details are what give our eagle its distinct features and charm.

With a marker, help them draw eyebrows on both sides to frame the face beautifully. It’s like adding the finishing touches to our feathered friend’s expressive face.

To finish our art project, encourage your children to draw the brown feathers of the eagle on the body.
