Simple Bird Craft

Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Glue
- Scissors

Directions
Start by downloading the bird template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this bird template to life!
First, take the eye and glue it just below and to the right of the eyebrow.
Next, help your kids attach the beak to the right side of the bird’s head and glue it in place.
Now, it’s time for the cheek! Guide your kids to glue it on the lower side of the eye.
Glue the right wing to the back and right side of the bird’s body.
Time for the front wing – have them glue it to the left and front side of the body.
Place the bird in front of the nest and secure it in place with some glue.
Cover the lower part of the bird with the front piece of the nest and glue it in place.
Lastly, cut some small rectangles from brown paper to look like twigs and secure them in place with glue.

- First, take the eye and glue it just below and to the right of the eyebrow.
