We’re always on the lookout for easy ways to celebrate holidays with the kids.
This free printable Earth Day hat is one way to get the kids involved in an easy Earth Day craft!
It’s perfect to use in the classroom because you can print it on plain white paper and you’re set.
If you want to get a little more creative, you can print it out on heavy cardstock and let the kids paint or add fun embellishments like glitter, sequins, or stickers!
I Heart Earth Headband

Supplies
- White paper (plain printer paper or cardstock)
- Markers, crayons, or colored paper
- Scissors
- Tape or stapler
- Earth hat template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to have the link sent to you)
Directions
Download the Earth Day hat and print out the base and headband extenders.
Let the kids color in the headbands as they please and add any embellishments they want to use.
Cut out the headband and two extenders. Tape one extender on each end of the headband base, then size it to fit your child’s head and use another piece of tape (or a paperclip) to make the full circle.
That’s it! It’s super simple and non-messy!
