Paper Turkey Craft

To get started on this cute craft, you’ll need just a few simple supplies, including some colorful paper, glue, scissors, and our free turkey card template. Kids will love bringing their turkeys to life while also getting the chance to work on fine motor skills, scissor skills, and handwriting at the same time.
Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Turkey card template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to get the template)
Directions
Download the turkey template, print, and cut out the pieces you need. Fold the card base in half along the dashed line, the cut it out, leaving the top part uncut.
Begin by gluing the eyes just below the eyebrows.
Next, glue the turkey body to the front and bottom of the head.
Glue the snood just below the eyes, on the body piece.
Place the beak above the snood and glue it down.
Next, glue the wings on both sides of the body.
Attach the body to the middle of the feathers using glue.
Finish up by letting the kids write a special message on the inside!
