4th of July Crafts: Party Poppers

Do a quick little 4th of July craft with the family when you make these free printable party poppers.

I have to say, I think I finally found a way for my young kiddos to have some more hands on fun for the fourth of July.

Last year I made these Captain America masks for kids for a cool, boyish way to dress up for Independence day, but apparently it wasn’t a substitute for personal fireworks.

My older son wanted something more “to do” but with everything out there about fireworks safety, I don’t want him having fireworks of any kind until he’s older.

Even with so many different 4th of July crafts out there I couldn’t find anything I wanted, so I created these Fourth of July party poppers!

Every year we go watch fireworks, which is entertaining for young children, but it’s definitely hands off.

And I’m that overprotective mom that says no to any sort of fireworks packs for kids, so once the show was over we were done. It can be a little bit of a let down for my boys.

But this year I’m sharing these Fourth of July confetti poppers DIY and free printable that I’m hoping are a hit with my kids and yours.

Plus, there are absolutely no fire or safety questions with these babies (which equals a less stressed and happier mom).
