I’m excited to have April 2016 Visiting Teaching free printable out to you just on time!
This month’s message is about how we are Daughters of Our Eternal Father. It’s somewhat of a continuation of last month’s message on how we are created in the image of God as it talks more about how we are “offspring of God”, but it further discusses how we, as women, have a specific female identity that is central to our life.
Even though the messages are very short there are always more than one quote or idea that really stands out to me. This month I had a hard time deciding between Elder Holland’s quote about how Heavenly Father knows us specifically or Sister Stephens quote about how Earthly families look.
After a lot of contemplating I went with Sister Stephens quote because I really feel like it encompasses the love Heavenly Father has for us. Although each of us strive for a traditional family with both parents at home, He knows that there are trials and setbacks in this mortal life that will not always make this possible. BUT, He still loves us. We are each vitally important to Him and we are all a part of His family.
