Disguise A Turkey As A Bee

This bee activity is a fun activity for kids to develop their fine motor skills, scissor skills, and ability to follow instructions while using their imaginations. It’s also a fun project to do together for a little holiday fun.
When it’s time to dress Mr. Turkey up in his disguise, download and print out our free template. Grab just a few basic supplies out of the supply closet and you’ll be all set to help him enjoy Thanksgiving this year.
Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Glue
- Scissors

Directions
Start by downloading the bee turkey template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this turkey to life!
First, help your child glue the stripes along the bottom part of the yellow body. Have the kids trim off any excess paper from the sides.
Next, glue the feet to the bottom of the bee’s body.
Now, guide your child to position the eyes just below each of the eyebrows and secure them with glue.
Place the snood just below the eyes, and help your child glue it in place.
Have your child glue the beak on top of the snood.
Next, encourage your child to glue the antennae to the top and back of the bee’s head.
Finally, help your child by gluing the wings on the sides of the bee’s body and attaching them to the back.
