In this free printable set of chick worksheets, you’ll receive the following:

  • Label a chick worksheet
  • C is for chick handwriting page
  • C is for chick letter maze

Up first on the label a chick worksheet, kids will learn more about these baby birds when they label parts of its body. We love this type of worksheet because it gives kids so many ways to learn when they complete it.

They’ll be able to practice using their scissors when they cut out each label and using their fine motor skills by putting just the right amount of glue where it should be. The labels are also a chance for kids to learn new words by sounding out the ones they may not know, yet.

C is for chick worksheet

Once kids have finished labeling all the parts of the chick, they can color it in using their creativity!

On the next sheet, kids will get the hang of writing uppercase and lowercase C and the word chick. To get them started, all they have to do is trace the dashed lines to get used to forming the letters correctly.

Practicing their handwriting will get them accustomed to holding a pencil properly and build hand strength and fine motor skills.

Last but not least is our C is for chick letter maze. Kids will help the baby chick make his way through the maze by finding all the letter Cc’s.

They’ll develop letter recognition as they find each uppercase and lowercase letter from start to finish. Laminate the pages for continued use!
