This festive Easter Bunny theme will have kids excited to go through each task that will have them counting, matching, and sharpening those scissor skills!
These activities strengthen hand-eye coordination, problem-solving, and spatial awareness all in a cute and fun way!
With all these new capabilities, kids will gain more independence as they grow and develop. Give kids the opportunity to practice using these skills either at home or in the classroom by printing out these worksheets.
In this free printable set, we’ve included the following worksheets:
- Cut Along the Line Worksheets (2)
- Finish the Picture Cutting Worksheet
- Counting Worksheet
On the first sheet, kids will cut along progressively harder paths to reach the bunnies as they make their way down the page. To practice their fine motor skills further, have them trace the dotted lines before cutting.
On the second cutting sheet, the path goes from the top of the page to the bottom. To get to the bunny in his carrot-mobile, kids will cut along the curvy dotted line before catching up to him at the bottom of the page.
Next up is the matching sheet where kids will complete the images by matching up the tops of the bunnies with the missing bottoms. This is a great way for kids to use problem-solving, matching skills, as well as identify shapes, similarities, and differences.
The final page is the counting worksheet. On this page, kids will count the bunnies in each block.
They’ll practice using their scissors as they cut out the numbers to paste them next to the correct amount of bunnies. It’s also a great way for them to use their fine motor skills and number recognition.
Every sheet provides a fun way for kids to get in some cutting practice to become more proficient with scissors!
