Printable Firefly Craft

By following our step-by-step instructions, your kids will learn how to transform a paper bag into a charming firefly puppet that can light up any room.
Get ready to ignite your kid’s imagination, as we go on a camping crafting adventure to capture the magic of fireflies in the palm of their hand!
Supplies
- Brown paper bag
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Firefly template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to get the template)
Directions
Download the firefly template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
Begin by gluing the head to the flap portion of the brown bag.
Take the eyes and glue one below both of the eyebrows.
Next, take the antennae and glue them to the top and back of the firefly’s head.
Glue the body piece to the main portion of the brown bag.
Place the lighted abdomen on the bottom of the body and glue it down.
Finish up by gluing the wings to the inner flap of both sides of the brown paper bag.
