Disguise A Gingerbread Girl As A Princess

This activity is a wonderful way for kids to stretch their imaginations and work on essential skills like cutting, gluing, and following instructions. It’s a wonderful way to get kids thinking creatively and developing fine motor skills as they craft their royal gingerbread friend.
Be sure to download our free printable template to make this gingerbread girl’s disguise extra easy and fun. You’ll just need some basic supplies you most likely already have on hand to get started!
Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- White paint pen
- Gingerbread princess template (unlock the image at the end of the post to go to the download page)
Directions
Start by downloading the template and printing it out. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring the gingerbread girl to life!
First, guide your child to glue the eyes above the mouth.
Position the hair on top of the head and glue it in place.
Next, glue the crown in the center of the hair.
Place the pink skirt in the center of the body and glue it down.
Now, help your child to glue the top to the top of the skirt.
Glue the sleeve on the outside of the top.
Next, glue the bow in the middle of the dress.
Add icing decorations on the arms and legs.
Finally, encourage your child to use the white paint pen or white marker to draw cheeks on both sides of the mouth.
