Line Tracing Practice Pages

Our ocean-themed collection includes seven (7) worksheets. In these pages, the little ones will have to trace through dashed lines, but there’s a variety of tasks that make the bundle engaging.

And the best part is that we’ve included black and white versions of the designs, allowing young artists to have fun coloring in the charming undersea creatures.

Here are the exercises included in this set:

Letter Tracing Practice

Young learners can practice tracing the uppercase and lowercase “J” with the help of friendly jellyfish characters. It might sound simple enough, but it’s a helpful practice.

As they perfect writing the letter Jj, they are also improving their pencil grip and strengthening the muscles needed for writing letters clearly and confidently.

Below, rows of dotted uppercase and lowercase J letters are provided for kids to trace with a crayon or pencil.Pin

Line Tracing Practice

In these pages, each line is paired with adorable sea creatures. Kids will meet a seahorse, crab, clam with a shiny pearl, and coral while following curvy, zigzag, and wavy paths.

These designs help them build fine motor skills as they learn to guide their pencils along different patterns. It also supports hand-eye coordination and prepares young learners for more advanced writing and drawing tasks in the future.

Trace the Mermaid

Think of this as the most fun part of the activity, with an entire page featuring a beautiful mermaid. They can start by tracing the lines along the edges of her tail to complete its outline.

Then, it’s time to add bright colors to the page. You can also encourage them to draw and fill in the background, encouraging creativity and helping them stay engaged as they work on steady hand movements.
