Directions
Start by printing the template, then gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this beach ghost to life!

Glue the sand piece along the bottom of the blue paper to create your beach background. This simple step instantly transforms the page into a sunny seaside setting.

Take the ghost piece and glue it just above the sand. Position it so the bottom of the ghost overlaps the beach slightly.

Use a black marker to trace or color in the ghost’s mouth.

Grab a red marker and color in the ghost’s tongue. This tiny detail adds a bright pop of color and makes the ghost look extra cheerful.

Use a light pink marker or crayon to color the ghost’s cheeks. Kids always love this step because it makes their ghost look cute and friendly instead of spooky.

Take the sandcastle piece and glue it in front of the ghost. Place it near the center of the beach so it looks like the ghost has been hard at work building the perfect sandcastle.

Grab the bucket piece and let your child color it however they’d like before gluing it next to the sandcastle. A bright blue or pink bucket looks especially fun in this beach scene.

To make the beach look more realistic, use a brown marker to add tiny dots and speckles across the sand and sandcastle.

Draw a bright sun in the sky above the ghost. Encourage your child to make long rays, short rays, or even wiggly rays. This is a great opportunity to talk about sunny beach days and favorite summer activities.

Finish the craft by drawing fluffy clouds around the sun. Add one cloud or several, depending on how creative your child feels. Once the clouds are in place, your Beach Ghost Craft is complete and ready to display for a fun Summerween celebration!
