Directions
Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this Buddy the Elf Gingerbread Man to life!

Find the eyes and glue them onto the face, under the eyebrows.

Grab the hair piece. Line it up along the top edge of the face and glue it down.

Next, find the hat piece and glue it right on top of the hair. Press gently so it sticks well.

Then, take the hat band and glue it across the middle of the hat. This little stripe adds so much color and detail.

Finish the hat by gluing the feather to the back and side.

Let’s disguise our gingerbread man! Glue the head to the top of the jacket, lining it up so it sits nicely at the neckline.

Now, glue the collar right under the chin. This small step makes a big difference and really gives him that classic elf look.

Take the belt and glue it straight across the gingerbread man’s waist.

Glue the belt buckle right in the center of the belt. This is a great fine motor moment and makes Buddy look almost finished.

Find the pants piece and glue it to the back and bottom of the jacket.

Now for the fun decorating part! Grab a white marker or paint pen and draw wavy icing lines along the arms and legs, giving our gingerbread man that classic cookie icing detail.

Now your gingerbread is fully disguised as Buddy the Elf and ready to show off! This easy printable craft is perfect for classroom activities, holiday parties, or a cozy afternoon at home.
