Directions
Start by printing the template, then gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this summer reindeer to life!

Take the dark blue ocean piece and glue it across the center of the blue background paper. This will become the sparkling water behind your reindeer’s beach day adventure.

Grab the sand piece and glue it along the bottom of the page, overlapping the ocean slightly.

It’s time to decorate the sky. Glue the cloud pieces near the top of the page. Let your child decide where the clouds should go to make the scene their own.

Color the palm tree piece and glue it to one side of the beach. This fun addition helps transform the background into a relaxing tropical getaway.

Using a brown marker, add small dots across the sand to create texture. Kids love this simple step because it makes the beach look more realistic.

Let’s build the reindeer! Start by gluing the swim trunks onto the bottom of the reindeer body. Choose your favorite color and get your reindeer ready for a day at the beach.

Find the mouth piece and glue it onto the center of the reindeer’s face, just below the sunglasses.

Glue the nose just above the mouth piece. Whether you use a red Rudolph nose or a classic black nose, this little detail adds lots of personality.

Color the ice cream cone and glue it onto the front of the reindeer’s body, below the mouth piece. Ask your child what flavor they think their reindeer is enjoying on this sunny day.

Glue the arm pieces over the ice cream cone so it looks like the reindeer is holding its frozen treat. This is one of the cutest parts of the craft!

Grab the antler pieces and glue them behind the top of the reindeer’s head. Be sure they peek out above the ears for the classic reindeer look.

Once the reindeer is fully assembled, glue it onto the beach background. Position it in the sand so it looks like it’s relaxing by the ocean under the palm tree.

Kids will love turning simple craft pieces into a cool reindeer relaxing by the ocean with an ice cream cone in hand! Along the way, they’ll practice scissor skills, fine motor development, and creative expression.
