Directions
Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this Santa to life!

Take Santa’s body and help your child glue the red shorts onto the bottom half of the body.

Now, take the hat and glue it on top of Santa’s head.

Next, grab that hat fluff and glue it across the bottom of Santa’s hat.

Let’s finish the hat with that tiny pom-pom! Have your child glue it to the tip of the hat.

Now it’s time for the beard! Glue the white beard right underneath Santa’s sunglasses.

Last part of the face! Add the nose in the center, right above the beard.

Let’s build the ocean! Grab the dark blue ocean strip and glue it a couple of inches from the bottom of your blue background paper.

Next, glue the sand piece to the bottom of the background piece, so it’s covering the ocean.

Now that your scene is ready, it’s time for Santa to hit the beach! Help your child glue the finished Santa right onto the sandy area.

Grab your markers. It’s surfboard decorating time! Let your child color in the surfboard however they like. Once it’s all colored in, help them glue it beside Santa so it looks like he’s ready to catch some waves.

Now, glue Santa’s hand to the right side of the surfboard to make it look like he’s gripping the board.

Time to add some sandy details! Use a brown or orange marker to add little dots across the beach.

Use a white marker to draw clouds in the sky.

That looks like such a fun project! It immediately reminded me of the book Santa's 11 Months Off.
