Directions

Print out the dragonfly template on white card stock.

Next, you’ll want to tear or cut small pieces of different colored tissue paper. These are going to be the dragonfly’s wings so choose colors that you like! Once you have all the pieces ready, glue them on top of the dragonfly template.

Pin

We overlapped the tissue paper, but you can do it any way you want. Let dry completely if using liquid glue.

Cut out the wings from the white card stock. Glue the bottom wing section to the top wing section, like in the picture below.

Pin

Take each completed wing and glue it behind one of the jumbo colored popsicle sticks. Let it dry completely.

Pin

Dab glue on the popsicle stick for the googly eyes or use adhesive googly eyes. Press the eyes on and let dry.

Pin

Use the fine tip black marker to draw a smile beneath the googly eyes.

Pin

Cut two 3.5″ strips of pipe cleaner for the antenna. Twist one end around your finger or a pen to curl it. Use an extra-strength glue dot to attach the antenna to the back of the jumbo popsicle stick.

Pin

That’s it!
