We’re all excited about Easter coming up, especially the kids. It’s one of our favorite holidays, and we all really look forward to celebrating.
The kids look forward to the Easter Bunny, egg hunts, sweet treats, and spending time with loved ones.
Get the kids into the holiday spirit and celebrate with this Easter basket name craft! When kids make this fun paper craft, they’ll fill their baskets with eggs that spell out their names.

Easy Easter Name Activity
Not only is it a cute April decoration, but it’s also a great way for kids to practice name spelling and letter recognition. It also gives them the chance to work on scissor skills and fine motor control.
Kids can customize this craft by choosing their favorite colors for the basket and eggs. Our PDF template makes it super easy to personalize by adding their names to it before printing.
Another option is to have kids practice their handwriting by filling in blank eggs with their names. It’s such a fun classroom activity!
Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper

Directions
Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this basket to life!

Begin by gluing the basket handle to the top and back of the basket base.

Finally, encourage your child to glue the egg letters to the black “hole” portion of the basket.


Optionally: Glue on some Easter grass beneath the letters. That’s it!
