Halloween Printable Puzzle For Kids
If you read this post about cute Halloween coloring pages then you know we absolutely do not do creepy, gruesome or gory for Halloween.
Instead, we like to focus on the fun, the family time and the creative costumes.
This Halloween printable puzzle for kids is a perfect example of this.
It definitely has a Halloween feel to it, but it’s cute and very kid friendly.
This is the first printable puzzle we’ve made and done before and it was surprisingly challenging at first.
The dark colors of the picture mean your child will really have to focus and look at all the details to see where each piece fits in the puzzle.
My 3 year old had too many difficulties doing it on his own so I labeled each one a number 1 through 8 on the bottom and A through H on the top.
Now, we can use this activity as a sequencing puzzle with numbers or letters!
After I showed him how to use the letters and numbers, he was able to recreate the picture on his own too.
This sort of puzzle is perfect to bring to church, in a busy bag or just to toss into your purse for an on the go quiet time activity.
I’d suggest laminating the puzzle if you plan to use it more than a few times so it doesn’t get torn or crumpled.
And, what’s great about that is you can tuck it away for next Halloween too!
