This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of itsums. All opinions are 100% my own.

Today I have a special challenge to share with you! A few weeks ago an awesome new company introduced me to an amazing little tool that I just know you will love! It’s called itsums and it’s the most stylish and organized way to keep track of any sort of budget that you can image. Myself and 8 other bloggers were challenged to create a kid’s (baby through teens) room within a budget of $2,500. And not just any room. A room that is great to look at of course, but also a room that is functional and includes the neccessities (mattress, storage, bedding, etc) that many times are overlooked. With those stipulations in mind I set out to create this gender neutral woodland nursery. This nursery is serene, neutral and the perfect place to just sit and take in the precious moments of life with your new little one. Read through to the end for a chance to win a $150 gift card to Pottery Barn Kids.

Gender Neutral Woodland Nursery | Itsums Challenge

Now on to itsums. What is it exactly you say? Well, it’s a little easier to show then to describe, so take a look at the screenshot below:

Basically you create a board to organize a budget for whatever you want. So for this example I created a board entitled, “Gender Neutral Woodland Nursery” then I set the category related to my project (kids room) and my budget.

Here is where the real fun begins….What’s great about itsums is that you can drag and drop a bookmarklet into your browser so that you can add products from any site that you shop from. Here’s a screen shot from when I added the Sleepytime Rocking Chair to my itsums board. On the left hand side you can see I outlined the itsums bookmark.

Once I click the itsums bookmark a pop up appears that looks like this:

You simply enter in the price of the item, the quantity, the board that you want to add the item to, the category and any custom notes you may want to add. Then click save and you’re done! When you’ve finished adding all of the items to your board you can check out a nifty pie graph that shows the breakdown of how much you have spent in each category. You can click here or the image below to see my board.

When you hover your cursor over the different areas of the chart it will break down exactly what percentage of your budget each category represents. And if all that isn’t cool enough, there are also social sharing buttons where you can share your board with your friends, family and followers to virtually any network! I just think this is way too cool to keep a secret.
