Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this gingerbread man to life!

Glue the circle head piece onto the top of the rectangular body piece, then glue the circle button shapes to the center of the body.

Find the triangle bowtie pieces and glue them together to form a bowtie right under the head.

Next, find the circle eye pieces and glue them onto the head.

Grab a white marker and decorate the ends of your rectangle arm and leg pieces with wavy icing lines.

Take each rectangle strip and fold it back and forth like an accordion.

Glue two folded rectangle strips onto the sides for arms. Spread the arms out like your gingerbread man is ready for a hug!

Now, glue the last two folded rectangle strips at the bottom for legs, then open the folds so they look springy and fun.

Use the white marker to add a little icing swirl on the top of the circle head piece. Let your child add extra curls if they want their cookie to look extra sweet.
