Shark Mothers Day Card To Make

Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Glue
- Scissors
- Markers
- Shark template (click the “click here to get this freebie” image at the end to open the form)
Directions
Start by downloading the shark template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this shark template to life!
Begin by preparing the card base piece. Guide your child to fold the card base piece in half along the dashed line.
Next, glue the lower portion of the face to the front and bottom of the card.
Place the eyes on either side of the nose and glue them in place.
Now, help your child take the top fin and glue it to the back and middle of the card
Position the side fins on either side of the card and glue them to the back.
Encourage your child to create the mouth by gluing the tongue to the bottom of the mouth. Trim off any excess paper.
Next, glue the teeth to the top and bottom of the mouth, cutting off any overhanging paper.
Glue the mouth in the middle of the lower portion of the face.
Lastly, open up the card and write a special message inside.

Instructions

- Next, glue the lower portion of the face to the front and bottom of the card.
- Place the eyes on either side of the nose and glue them in place.
- Take the top fin and glue it to the back and middle of the card.

- Create the mouth by gluing the tongue to the bottom of the mouth. Trim off the excess paper.
- Now glue the teeth to the top and bottom of the mouth and cut off the paper that hangs over the edge.
- Finish making it by gluing the mouth in the middle of the lower portion of the face.
- Open up and write a special message inside.
