Kids can celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by wearing green clothes, eating green food, and drinking green drinks. They can also learn about Irish culture by reading books about Ireland.
And of course, they can make crafts!
In honor of the holiday, we’ve created this fun Yoda leprechaun craft. It’s a great way for kids to celebrate the day and have a fun hands-on activity.
This easy paper craft is simple to make with our free printable template and step-by-step directions. Your kids will love it! We suggest making it with preschool, kindergarten, and elementary children.
And of course with any Star Wars or Mandolorian fans! Make it this March and be sure to browse through all of our St. Patrick’s Day crafts for more ideas.

Directions
Start by downloading the Yoda template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this Yoda template to life!
Hand your little one the eyes with whites and guide them to carefully glue them on top of Baby Yoda’s head.
Now, let’s give our little green friend some character by creating a nose. Grab a dark green marker and draw a small oval just above Baby Yoda’s mouth.
Show your child how to glue the pink inner ears to the lower portion of the outer ears. Together, carefully trim off any excess paper.
With a black marker, help your child make a thick hat band in the middle of the leprechaun hat. Then, guide them to draw a black square in the middle of the buckle. Once that’s done, show them how to glue the buckle to the middle of the hat band.
Take the completed leprechaun hat and guide your child to glue it to the top of Baby Yoda’s head.
Now, onto Yoda’s body! Show your little one how to glue the coat fluff to the top of the coat. They get to decide just how fluffy and snug Yoda’s coat should be.
To finish off Yoda’s outfit, guide your child to glue the coat to the bottom of Yoda’s neck.
Using the dark green marker, have your child draw the coat armholes, just like in the picture.
Finish up by guiding them to glue the horseshoe in the middle of the coat and the hands (one on each side) in the middle of the arm holes.
