Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Crayola Bold & Bright Markers
  • Owl Graduation Template

Instructions

  • Print the template and gather the materials for this fun activity.
  • Begin by gluing the head and belly piece onto the owl body.
  • Glue the eye pieces onto the owl’s face.
  • Color in the beak and glue it between the lower part of the eyes.
  • Glue the cheek pieces onto each side of the owl’s face.
  • Place the sign onto the owl’s belly, gluing it down.
  • Glue the feet to the bottom of the owl’s body.
  • Glue the wing pieces to the sides of the sign, so it looks like the owl is holding it.
  • Take the graduation cap and glue it to the top of the owl’s head.
  • Use a white marker to trace along the printed line of the graduation cap to give it the 3D feel.
  • Finally, glue the tassel onto the graduation cap.
