Scarecrow Photo Craft
Materials
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Marker
- Scarecrow template
Instructions
- Download the scarecrow template, print it, and cut out the necessary pieces.
- Begin by gluing the scarecrow's hair to both sides of the child's photo.
- Next, glue the scarecrow hat to the top portion of the head.
- Position the orange patch to the center of the hat and glue it in place. Now, draw the stitching marks around the patch.
- Glue the overalls to the shirt.
- Place the head on top of the overalls and glue it in place.
- Draw the pocket in the center of the overalls.
- Next, glue the straw to the back and ends of the arms.
- Attach the straw to the bottom and back of the overall pants.
- Finish off by gluing the stick behind and in the center of the scarecrow.

Directions
Start by downloading the template and printing it out. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this scarecrow to life!
First, guide your child in gluing the scarecrow’s hair to the sides of their photo.
Next, glue the scarecrow hat to the top portion of the head.
Position the orange patch to the center of the hat and glue it in place.
Now, help your child to draw the stitching marks around the patch.
Glue the overalls to the shirt.
Place the head on top of the overalls and glue it in place.
Draw the pocket in the center of the blue overall pants.
Next, glue the straw to the back and ends of the shirt.
Attach the straw to the back and bottom of the overalls.
Finally, encourage your child to glue the stick behind and in the center of the scarecrow.
