Fox Handprint Activity

In addition to teaching kids to use their creativity, tracing and cutting out the handprints helps them refine their fine motor skills and scissor skills. They’ll also enhance cognitive skills by following instructions and sequencing the steps to make their fox.
To make this activity even easier, we’ve provided a free template that you can download. It’ll help leave more time for fun and less time for preparation.
Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Markers

Directions
Start by downloading the fox template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this fox to life!
Help your child trace their hand onto a piece of paper and cut it out. Position it with the fingers pointed down.
First, guide your child to glue the eyes below the eyebrows.
Next, glue the mouth and nose piece to the bottom portion of the fox’s head.
Now, draw the inner ears to the center of the ears.
Position the head on the thumb and glue it in place.
Create the tail by gluing the tip of the tail to the right side portion of the orange tail.
Place the tail to the right and back of the body and glue it in place.
Finally, encourage your child to color the bottom part of the fox’s leg brown.

I cant figure out how to get the free template - i went to click here to get your free template - put in my email asked if i was a human :) and never got the email.
