Directions

Start by downloading the snake template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this snake to life!

First, encourage your child to glue the neck to the center of the headband base.

Next, help your child to take the head and glue it to the headband base.

Now, place the underside of the snake in the center and on top of the neck and glue it in place.

Position the eyes below the eyebrows and glue them in place.

Help your child glue the tongue in the center of the mouth.

Finally, tape the extenders on both sides of the headband base.

Instructions

  1. Download the snake template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  2. Begin by gluing the neck to the center of the headband base.
  3. Next, take the head and glue it to the top portion of the body.
  4. Place the underside of the snake in the center and on top of the base body and glue it in place.
  5. Position the eyes below the eyebrows and glue them in place.
  6. Glue the tongue in the center of the mouth.
  7. Finish off by taping the extenders on both sides of the headband base.
