Summer Ice Cream Craft

Directions

Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this ice cream to life!

First, guide your child to glue the ice cream scoop to the top of the cone.

Glue the second blue wave below the first wave.

Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick
  • Ice cream template

Instructions

  • Download the ice cream template, print, and cut out the pieces.
  • Begin by gluing the ice cream scoop to the top of the cone.
  • Glue the sunglasses above the mouth.
  • Next, glue the inner lens pieces to the sunglasses for dimension.
  • Place the ocean wave on the background piece of paper and glue it down.
  • Glue the second wave below the first one.
  • Position the sand below the last wave and glue it in place.
  • Now, glue the ice cream to the center of the beach background.
  • Finish off by gluing the seashell beside the ice cream cone, on the sand.
