Look for the eye pieces and glue them onto the popsicle base, just below the watermelon seeds.

Grab the pink cheek pieces and glue one onto each side of the smile, below the eyes. The rosy cheeks make the popsicle look extra cheerful and adorable!

Find the white rind piece and glue it along the bottom of the popsicle base. Talk with your child about how watermelons have different colorful layers just like a real slice of fruit.

Glue the light green rind directly to the bottom of the white rind. This bright layer adds a fun pop of summer color and helps make the watermelon design stand out even more.

Take the dark green rind piece and glue it to the bottom of the popsicle. The layered colors really help complete the watermelon look, and kids will love seeing their craft transform into a yummy frozen treat.

To finish the craft, glue the popsicle stick onto the back and bottom of the popsicle base. Press it down firmly so it stays secure while drying.
