Directions
Start by downloading, editing, and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and letโs help the kids bring this sun to life!

Take the eye pieces and glue them near the top center of the yellow circle. Line them up just below the eyebrows.

Glue one cheek under each eye. This gives your sun a sweet, cheerful face that kids will love.

Cut short slits all the way around the orange circle to form the sunโs rays.

Place the yellow face in the center of the orange circle and glue it down. Help your child line it up so the rays peek out evenly from all sides. Press it down with glue to secure the face in place.

Show your child how to gently fold every other ray upward, then let them try a few on their own. Itโs a simple step that gives the sun a fun, bouncy look and a great way to build those fine motor skills!

Glue the finished sun onto a blue sheet of paper. This helps the bright sun stand out, as if itโs floating in the sky.

Help your child find the correct letters and arrange them in order beneath the sun. Itโs a simple way to practice name recognition while adding a personal touch theyโll be proud of. Once everything is lined up, glue the letters in place.
