This time of year is so fun for kids! There’s so much for them to look forward to like all the good food at Easter dinner and traditions with their family and friends.

One fun way to celebrate the holiday is by doing a craft with the kids! Get them egg-cited for the Easter bunny with this fun and cute tissue paper bunny craft.

This craft is a great way for kids to make a festive decoration for their fridge at home or even the bulletin board at school! 

Kids will hone their fine motor skills when they scrunch up each piece of tissue and glue it in place on the template to reveal their cute bunnies!

Easter Craft Bunny

Supplies

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Tissue paper squares
  • Bunny template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to have the link sent to you)

Directions

Download the bunny template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Pin

Begin by placing glue along a section of the bunny’s head.

Take the tissue paper squares, crumple them up, and place them on the glue you spread in the previous step.

Repeat the last 2 steps all along the bunny’s head until the entire thing is covered in tissue paper.

Next, glue the inner ear to the middle of the bunny’s ear. Repeat for the other ear.

Place the eyes in the middle of the bunny’s head, one on each side of the head, and glue it in place.

Take the nose and mouth piece and glue them in the middle of the head, just below the eyes.

Position the cheeks on both sides of the nose and mouth and glue it in place.

Finish by cutting the bottom part of the paper off.
