Directions

Start by downloading the template and printing it out. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this gingerbread man to life!

First, guide your child to glue the face to the inside of the helmet piece.

Place the icing hair on the top portion of the head and glue it down.

Next, help your child to glue the eyes below the eyebrows.

Attach and glue the head to the astronaut suit.

Now, glue the helmet knobs to the sides of the helmet.

Position the astronaut controls to the torso and glue it in place. Color in the two circles.

Kids can help keep the gingerbread man safe by making him into an astronaut gingerbread man!

Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Glue stick
  • Scissors
  • White paint pen
  • Markers
  • Astronaut gingerbread man template

Instructions

  1. Download the gingerbread man template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  2. Begin by gluing the face to the inside of the helmet piece.
  3. Place the hair on the top portion of the head and glue it down.
  4. Next, glue the eyes below the eyebrows.
  5. Attach and glue the head to the astronaut suit.
  6. Now, glue the helmet knobs to the sides of the helmet.
  7. Position the astronaut control piece in the middle of the torso and glue it in place. Color in the two circles.
  8. Finish off by drawing the icing decorations on the arms and legs.
