Today’s nursery inspiration board is close to my heart.
Before I decided to become a stay at home mom I worked as a zookeeper apprentice. I loved the two years I spent working at the zoo and all the amazing animals, but the hoof stock (which included the elephants, rhinos, giraffes and more) were some of my favorite animals to work with.
This mood board brings in the outdoors in a soft, feminine and elegant way.
The distressed wood on the dresser mixed with the mirrored drawer faces tie in the sweet safari theme perfectly.
The room has a neutral base palette with shades of pink and a hint of mustard. This nursery will stand the test of time and seamlessly transitions into a little girl’s room with a few minor adjustments.
