Supplies

• Black pipe cleaners
• Tape
• Googly eyes
• Colored cardstock or construction paper
• Glue stick
• Scissors
• Bad Apple template (unlock the free template at the end of the post)

Directions

Start by downloading the template and printing it out. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this apple to life!

First, guide your child to glue the eyes below the eyebrows.

Next, glue the stem to the top and back of the apple.

Now, help your child glue the leaf on the back and side of the stem.

Place the worm in the middle of the hole and glue it in place.

Attach the googly eyes to the worm using the glue.

Next, twist the black pipe cleaner to create the legs.

Tape the legs to the back and bottom of the apple.

Create the arms by twisting the black pipe cleaners.

Finally, encourage your child to tape the arms to the back and sides of the apple.
