Bumble Bee Craft
This project would be such a cute way to show off your class of busy bees on a spring bulletin board! Making these happy little bees is a breeze with the help of our free template.
Just grab a few simple supplies, print the template, and add a favorite photo to bring the bee to life. It’s a fun and easy way to create a keepsake that parents will cherish, too.
Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- A photo of your child
- Bee Template (click the “click here to get your freebies” image at the end of the post)

Directions
Start by downloading and printing the bee template, then cut out all the pieces together. This is a great chance to practice those scissor skills!

Next, grab the body piece and your child’s photo. Glue the photo to the top of the body piece. Now, your bee has a cute little head!

Now, glue the two black paper strips down on the yellow body piece to create the bee’s signature stripes.

What’s a bee without a tiny stinger? Grab the stinger piece and glue it to the back and bottom of the bee’s body.

Glue the wing pieces behind the bee’s body so they peek out from the sides. Now, your bee is coming to life!

Your bee is almost ready to buzz! Glue the black antennae strips to the back and top of the bee’s head to complete the look.

Isn’t this the cutest little bee craft? Your kids will love making their buzzing buddy! Check out some of our spring crafts while you’re here!
