Directions
Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this gingerbread man Christmas tree to life!

Look for the gingerbread head piece and glue it onto the top center of the tree.

Next, find the eyes and glue them below the eyebrows.

Every Christmas tree needs a star! Glue the star right at the top of the tree. Hold it in place for a few seconds and admire how festive it already looks.

Now it is time for icing details. Look for the gingerbread arms and feet. Using a white pen or marker, draw wavy lines near the ends just like real frosting on cookies.

Glue the arms onto each side and back of the tree so they peek out from behind.

After that, glue the feet to the bottom and back so they stick out from underneath the tree.

Now for the fun part! Use pom-poms or light stickers and place them all over the tree to create ornaments. Let your child decide where each one goes. This is a great step for practicing fine motor skills!
