Basketball Turkey Disguise

Every year, our plucky turkey narrowly escapes the dinner table fate, but this time, it’s got a game plan. By transforming into a basketball player, it aims to blend in with the crowd and dodge those Thanksgiving dinner plates.
So, grab the template, scissors, colored paper, and loads of creativity, because this is one craft that’ll have your kids cheering from the sidelines in no time! Are you game? Let’s go!
Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Markers
- Turkey template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to get the template)
Directions
Download the turkey template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
Begin by gluing the hair to the top of the turkey’s head.
Take the eyes and glue them beneath both of the eyebrows.
Next, glue the clothes to the body portion of the turkey.
Glue the snood to the middle of the turkey’s head, just below the eyes, then glue the beak on top of it.
Place the wings on both sides of the body and glue them in place.
Position the feet on the bottom of the turkey’s body and glue them in place.
Use a marker to draw the number on the front of the turkey’s jersey.
Finish up by gluing the turkey body to the middle and bottom of the basketball feathers.
