Directions
Start by printing the template, then gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this Earth craft to life!

Take the Earth template. Help your child glue the blue tissue paper in the center and the green tissue paper around the edges to create the land and water. Crinkle the tissue paper before gluing for a fun, textured look.

Grab the blue paper and glue the grass piece along the bottom to make a simple outdoor scene.

Time to add some sky details! Glue the cloud pieces onto the blue background. Spread them out near the top to make it look bright and cheerful.

Take the arms and glue them onto the background so they stick out from each side where your Earth will go. You can angle them upward to make your Earth look extra happy.

Glue the feet onto the grass near the bottom center. This helps position where your Earth will sit.

Take your finished Earth tissue paper and glue it right in the center, overlapping the arms and just above the feet. Press it down gently so everything sticks well.

Let’s bring your Earth to life! Glue on the eyes near the top center of the Earth.

Color in the mouth piece and glue it just below the eyes.

Finally, add the finishing touch by gluing on the pink cheeks on each side of the mouth. This gives your Earth that cute, happy expression.

This simple activity is a fun way for kids to practice fine motor skills while learning about our planet. It encourages creativity, builds hand strength, and opens the door for meaningful conversations about Earth Day and caring for the environment.
