Directions
Start by printing the template, then gather the materials for this fun activity. If you’re using the craft version, this is the perfect time to let your child color in all the template pieces before assembling.

Take the carrot house and grass pieces. Add glue along the bottom edge of the carrot house, then glue it in the center of the grass piece so the grass peeks out underneath like a lawn.

Glue the door piece centered at the bottom of the carrot house. Let your child press around the edges to make sure it stays in place.

Next, use a marker to draw a small doorknob.

Ask your child to find the egg pieces. Glue them on each side of the door, resting on the grass. Let your child choose which egg goes on each side.

Glue the windows just above the door, one on the top left and one on the top right.

Take the beam piece and glue it horizontally above the windows. This will be the little ledge where the bunny peeks out.

Find the bunny piece and glue it right on top of the beam so it looks like it is peeking out of the house!

Lastly, let’s add the carrot top piece. Glue it behind the top of the carrot house so the leafy greens stick up above it. Press firmly to secure them in place.

And that’s it. Your Easter Bunny House is ready to display!
This simple craft is more than just a cute decoration. As kids glue, line up pieces, and create their bunny house, they are building fine motor skills, practicing spatial awareness, and strengthening creative thinking.

Your craft activities are fun and exciting. I use them in my three year old classroom, I have to do a lot of pre-cutting, as my students are just leaning to open and close scissors on paper. Thank you for sharing, keep up the good work.
Thank you for the kind words! It’s great hearing the crafts are being used with your three year olds. Those early scissor skills take some practice, so the extra prep makes total sense. I really appreciate you sharing and for the star rating!
