And don’t forget all the printable Valentine’s Day cards we’ve made for passing out at home or at school.
Today we’re sharing an insanely simple clear slime recipe you’ll love making with your kids.
Read on below to see just how easy it is to make!
Valentine’s Day Slime
- Clear School Glue
- Liquid Starch
- Metallic Confetti
How To Make Valentine’s Day Slime
- Measure 2/3 cup clear glue and pour into a bowl.
- Add 1/4 cup liquid starch and stir with a spoon or spatula until thoroughly mixed.
- Pull the slime mixture out of the bowl and work with you hands to get the right consistency.
- If the slimy feels too sticky, add more liquid starch. If the slime is too stringy, add more glue a little at a time until the desired consistency is achieve.
Once you get the slime to the right consistency, add the confetti and mix it into the slime by hand.
That’s seriously all there is to it!
Just remember that with all the activities we share, adult supervision is required at all times, especially with slime.
I would recommend only having kids ages 3 and older use this slime, so they aren’t tempted to put it in their mouth and eat it.
Also be sure to tell your children not to touch their eyes or mouth while playing. Remember to wash your kid’s hands after they’re done playing with the slime.
This Valentine slime is so much fun to make and play with, I’m sure you’ll want to make this basic slime recipe again and again with different “mix ins”.
