These firefly worksheets are full of hands-on fun and early learning goodness. With three printables in the bundle, each page offers a different activity designed to keep young ones engaged while building important school-readiness skills.

Firefly Letter Maze

The first worksheet is a letter maze focused on identifying uppercase and lowercase F. Young learners are encouraged to color or dot every letter they find to make their way through the path.

This supports letter recognition and visual scanning, while providing early reading foundations.

Label The Firefly

Next up is a cut-and-paste worksheet where they label parts of a firefly. They’ll find simple words like “antenna,” “wing,” “leg,” “head,” and “light” in cut-out boxes at the bottom of the page.

Children match each word to the correct part of the firefly and glue it in place, which builds vocabulary and reinforces beginning science concepts about insects.

Letter Ff Tracing Practice

Now this is all about handwriting. It begins with tracing the word “firefly” in dashed lines, followed by rows of uppercase and lowercase F’s for children to trace, before they try writing on their own.

These activities are helpful for letter formation, pencil grip, and muscle memory.
