How The Grinch Stole Christmas is one of the best Christmas movies ever made!

It was originally a Dr. Seuss book about a grumpy green character who hates Christmas and tries to ruin the holiday for everyone in Whoville but eventually learns to love it.

If your family loves the Grinch, they’ll have tons of fun making this Grinch gingerbread man craft! It’s so easy to make and only requires a few supplies.

Kids will love transforming the traditional gingerbread man shape into Mr. Grinch!

Grinch Gingerbread Craft

Supplies

Colored cardstock or construction paper
Scissors
Glue
Yellow markers (optional: if you print eyes on white paper)

Directions

Start by downloading the Grinch gingerbread template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this DIY to life!

First, encourage your child to make the Grinch’s face by gluing the nose to the top of the mouth line.

If you printed the eyes on white paper, take a yellow marker and color them in. Glue his eyes in the middle of his face, just above the nose.

Next, guide your child to take the eyebrows and glue them at the top of the eyes at a downward angle so he looks mad.

Place the icing pieces near the end of the arms and the legs and glue them in place. Cut off the excess paper.

Next, create the scarf. To make the stripes, glue them in along the 2 pieces of the scarf. Cut off the excess. If you want a solid-colored scarf, skip this step.

Take the piece of the scarf the points down and glue it near the middle of the neck piece.

Finally, glue the scarf to his neck.
