Winter is one of the best times to craft with the kids, especially on extra cold days when you’re stuck inside! This snowman headband craft is a fun and easy activity that’s perfect for young kids.
We love doing headband crafts, but this one is our new favorite!
It’s super easy to make so it’s perfect for toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarten children.
All you need to do is print out the template and get crafting! And, if your kiddo doesn’t want to make this as a craft, you can also print it out in black and white and let them color it instead.

Easy Snowman Craft

Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Glue
- Scissors
- Tape or stapler
- Snowman template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to have the link sent to you)
Directions
Download the snowman template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Glue the snowman’s eyes in the middle of the head section of the headband.

Place the carrot nose in between the eyes and glue it in place.

Position the cheeks slightly overtop of the outside of each eye and glue to secure.

Assemble the snowman’s mouth by gluing the tongue to the mouth. Use the scissors to trim off any excess paper.
Glue the completed mouth just below the carrot nose.

Finish off the snowman by gluing his top hat to either side of his head.

Complete the headband by taping or stapling a headband extender to both ends of the headband base.
