Jelly Fish Craft Idea

Dive under the sea with this adorable ocean project! All you need is some cardstock, scissors, glue, and markers to construct this cute underwater animal. Kids of all ages can practice fine motor skills and build finger strength as they cut, glue, and curl paper.

Start by downloading and printing the PDF. Once it’s printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this jellyfish to life!

First, guide your child to take the top part of your jellyfish and glue it to the wavy underlayer.

Next, help your child to glue the eyes to the middle of jellyfish body.

Draw a cheerful smile with a black marker below the eyes.

Now, cut out thin strips of paper in various colors. Once they’ve got their strips ready, wrap one around your child’s finger to curl it into a ringlet.

Make this cute and easy jellyfish craft with the kids this summer!

Equipment

  • Scissors

Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • White cardstock
  • Black marker
  • Glue stick
  • Jellyfish template

Instructions

  • Download the jellyfish template, print and cut out all the pieces.
  • Begin by taking the top part of the jellyfish and glue it to the wavy underlayer.
  • Next, glue the eyes to the middle of jellyfish body.
  • Draw a cheerful smile with a black marker below the eyes.
  • Now, cut out thin strips of paper in various colors. Once they've got their strips ready, wrap one around your child's finger to curl it into a ringlet.
  • Finish by gluing each tentacles on top and pressing it onto the backside of the jellyfish's underlayer.
